Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated over $54,000 to thirty local teachers through their 4th Annual GRANTED program.

The credit union believes that a bright future starts with a solid education. That’s why they created their GRANTED program in 2022 to help alleviate some of the financial burden teachers may face in their effort to educate and engage their students. Educators who teach grades K-12 at schools located within one of the credit union’s 45-county service areas were eligible to apply. If selected, recipients receive classroom supplies or monetary donations to purchase items from their classroom wish lists.

Please join the credit union in recognizing the recipients of the 2025 GRANTED program:

“With the support of Robins Financial Credit Union, I have been able to take my classroom to the next level,” shared Alicia Johnson, teacher at Baldwin County High School. “An innovative mobile math classroom allows us to break away from the traditional four walls and bring learning to life in a dynamic, engaging setting. This flexibility supports differentiated instruction, meeting students’ diverse learning needs by incorporating movement, collaboration, and real-world connections, ultimately increasing engagement and deepening understanding.”

Since beginning this program, Robins Financial has awarded over $159,000 to local teachers.

“Through our GRANTED program, we are proud to help local teachers bring their creative classroom ideas to life,” said Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union. “Their dedication to shaping the minds of future generations inspires us every day, and we’re honored to play a part in their important work.
