Could you benefit from free business advice? SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business", provides free, confidential advice to anyone wanting to start their own business, and to existing small business owners who are experiencing difficulties, or who want to expand to the next level of success.

Macon SCORE is a branch of the nationwide volunteer organization, founded by the US Government Small Business Administration in 1964, with over 11,000 trained counselors in nearly 400 chapters across America.

SCORE volunteer counselors all have extensive real world experience, either as former business owners, or as senior executives in the business world. In addition to a comprehensive training program, counselors have access to a world class online business information network, and to the individual expertise of the thousands of fellow SCORE volunteers across the USA.

Since opening shop at the Macon Chamber offices in 2006, local SCORE counselors have assisted over 300 clients, with advice ranging from marketing to finance to writing an effective business plan.
